Last week, the city of Amsterdam celebrated queerness all over town, during the very first edition of Queer Amsterdam. It was joyful, activist, fun, serious, needed, and kinda amazing!
Mister B WINGS Talks joined the celebrations and visited multiple events, including the Pride Walk, Black Pride, and Sex Worker Day. We talked to visitors and organizers, did a little dance when the occasion called for it, and we even had time for a calming embroidery class.

WINGS Talks x Queer Amsterdam – Urban Sports Hangout Amsterdam Noord
WINGS Talks is hanging out in Amsterdam-Noord at the Urban Sports Hangout. Marco (he/him) is reliving his childhood years while rollerskating, and he even makes an attempt to do some bouldering (spoiler: he’s afraid of heights).
WINGS Talks x Queer Amsterdam – Queer Hub Tolhuistuin
WINGS Talks is at the Queer Hub in the Tolhuistuin in Amsterdam-Noord. We’re doing some embroidery to chill and winddown, plus we’re talking to Loulou (she/her) who publishes (children’s) books that focus on minorities.
Wings Talks x Queer Amsterdam – Striptopia
Mister B WINGS Talks visits Striptopia, a queer strip show at the famous Casa Rosso. We talk to performers, and we ask visitors if they have ever stripped themselves. Spoiler alert: they definitely have ;-).
